As an MP from Bengal, when are you going to raise this matter of urgent importance in the upper house.
Pls note:
1)Like other regiments in the Indian army. re-establishment of the Bengal regiment again which was there but dismantled after 1920. (Have a read you will know all the details)
2)Pressurizing the government to publish pending files on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose,& Declare 23rd January national holiday.
3)Aiims for North Bengal,Jangal Mahal(If land problem, protest properly untill it is done)
4)Farmers of Bengal should be given the right to cultivate poppy seeds(Posto)
5)Implementation of strict laws for calling any Indian Bengalis, Bangladeshi (That is happening very much nowadays)
6)Implementing state quotas for UPSC and other Central examinations like that off SSC GD,Bsf. (If possible)
As a MP from Bengal. Pls raise this vital issues in the house & Get it done for the land of Bengal.
The Bengalee Regiment has a long and glorious history. It is certainly our endeavour to campaign for this but all decisions on the Indian army are taken by the army staff and the Ministry of Defence, thus do not fall in the ambit of state governments. We have been repeatedly raising the concerns of Bengal in Parliament, including renaming to “Bangla,” Gangasagar Mela, sharing of Teesta river waters and the dues owed to Bengal from the Centre government amounting to I lakh 75000 crores. Thank you
Dii I am your biggest fan and your all novel reader and a proud liberal. My Question is that why you deleted your insta id? I am really terrified dii. Always be blissful and be a superwoman
I have certainly not deleted my Instagram account. You can find me at ghose_sagarika
Dear MP Sagarika Ghose,
thanks to my work I sometimes meet people from India, and I developed interest in your country, but there is just one thing which I completly could not understand...
I find completly baffling the difference between opinion polling of the Narendra Modi
(for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_on_the_Narendra_Modi_premiership) and BJP opinion polling (for example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_2024_Indian_general_election). How it is possible that a premier has around two times better support than his party? Of course polling companies can make some kind of systematicall error, but it's hard to belive that it would exceed 10%, especially taking into account that these results are more or less comparable for different polls. What is even more supraising, every time when I talk with Indians about it, they seems to be in line with the polling results.
I would be really gratefull for your response.
Several concerns have been raised regarding the accuracy of data of polling companies and the methodologies they follow. We have asked that poll agencies make the raw data public so that the public can access the methods by which they arrive at their findings. Thank you
There are so many reports on how Election Comission is seen as committing frauds to favour BJP since Dec 2023 Rajasthan, MP, Chattisgarh and Telengana elections. Why opposition is still sleeping? I have also looped your sansad email id on the thread where I have shared so many reports with opposition leaders
We as Opposition have been repeatedly raising before the Election Commission the numerous ways in which the BJP flouts election laws and the Model Code of Conduct. We have staged numerous protests and dharnas on this issue and will continue to do so.
May I suggest that you along with your india alliance partners, compile a comprehensive bill for crimes against women, such bill to be put together in consultation with the constabulary and judiciary.
This bill to highlight rape, domestic violence, molestation, assault, workplace bullying and harassment etc. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I understand your concerns very well. My son is an ENT surgeon. As a medical aspirant he faced a great deal of uncertainty as his batch was the first year that took the NEET exam, but they also had to take the other entrance exams, as in the first year of NEET, the system had not been properly organised. It was a traumatic experience. The manner in which the Modi government is mistreating the medical and healthcare sector is a scandal.
Hi, none of the political parties has spoken about impact of climate change, poor air quality, sustained development etc. These are crucial issues for common citizens & they hugely will impact our daily life in years to come. Your views !
The Bengal government has brought in the Aparajita Women and Child (West Bengal Criminal Laws Amendment ) Bill 2024. The bill has been unanimously passed by the Bengal assembly and now awaits assent from the President.
Dear Madam,
What is long term vision of your party for Kolkata ? Its apparent that Kolkata and indeed West Bengal has lost its economic sheen compared to states such as Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and even Gujarat ? Given the singur episode, many companies are hesitant to come to West Bengal given greener pastures in other states ? Without revival of West Bengal, revival of Eastern India is not possible. While we talk about North South divide, the East West divide is equally harmful for India.
GDP per capita of West Bengal is barely $ 1700. The same for MP is $ 1864 and for Rajasthan is $ 2000. Both were considered BIMARU once upon a time.
Forgive me for saying this but Kolkata feels like a glorified old age home.
Thanks.
Regards,
Bhavik Gandhi
Completely wrong.
