Diwali has once again given us a big bang for the buck. We Indians love our crackers, the noisier the better. We are after all a country where motorists like to honk, TV anchors like to scream and neighbours simply won’t keep the volume down. A ban on bombs may seem like a cracker of an idea for the courts but it doesn’t quite work with us. That other country may be Pakistan but we are patakistan. That’s we need a tree-ty with our environment. But calls for a green Diwali made many on social media see red.
