Pubs are in the news for the wrong reasons. A minor girl in Hyderabad was allegedly gangraped in a car while returning from a pub. Some of the six accused — five of them minors — are reportedly linked to influential politicians and a slugfest has broken out with the opposition pointing fingers at Hyderabad’s “pub culture”.
